Cards for Cops

        Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman and Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder announce the “Cards for Cops” program sponsored by Beyond the Badge, N.Y.   

        Beyond the Badge, N.Y. is a not-for-profit organization that was created by two local law enforcement officers, as they felt the need to address the many challenges the law enforcement community faces on a daily basis. 

        At this event, hundreds of students will present over 1,000 homemade holiday cards to Nassau County Police Officers.  This gesture will promote positive community relationships and show support for law enforcement during this holiday season.  It renews the spirit for those working around the clock to keep our communities safe.  

         When:    Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.
