The Fourth Squad reports the arrest of four undomiciled Venezuelan males for an incident that occurred on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 12:10 pm in North Long Beach.

According to Detectives, a male victim, 44, was walking in the parking lot of Ace Hardware located at 3965 Long Beach Road when four unknown males approached him. The victim ran into his vehicle and the four subjects began punching the windows and forcibly attempting to remove the victim. In fear for his life the victim called 911 and held onto the steering wheel until police arrived.  

Defendants Jose Urbina Martinez, 29, Luis Urbina Martinez, 32, Angel Urbina Martinez, 21 and Darwin Botines Pino, 36, were arrested without incident. There were no injuries reported.

All four defendants are being charged with two counts of Attempted Robbery 2^nd Degree and Attempted Robbery 3^rd Degree. They will be arraigned on Friday, February 16, 2024 in First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
