Fifth Squad Detectives report the arrest of a Queens man for a Burglary that occurred on Friday, March 22, 2024 at 10:35 pm in Valley Stream.

According to detectives, an unknown male entered a side window of a building located at 704 W. Merrick Road.  The subject removed multiple key fobs and exited the same window.  The subject used a key fob to enter a 2024 Honda HR-V and drove it from the scene.

A thorough investigation was conducted and Damien Davis, 29, of 109-53 173^rd Street, Jamaica, was arrested.

Defendant Davis is charged with Burglary 3^rd Degree, Grand Larceny 2^nd Degree, Grand Larceny 3^rd Degree, Grand Larceny 4^th Degree and Criminal Mischief 3^rd Degree.  He will be arraigned on Monday, March 25, 2024 at First District Court, Hempstead.
