The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of an Elmont man on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 for multiple Robberies that occurred in Nassau County.
According to Detectives, Defendant Christian Antonio Sepulveda Silva, 43, of 276 Benson Avenue, Elmont was responsible for the following robberies:
- July 28, 2024 at 11:38 pm: The defendant entered Bolla Mart Gas Station located at 380 Peninsula Boulevard in Hempstead and approached a male employee demanding money stating he had a gun. The employee in fear for his safety complied and the defendant fled scene.
- July 29, 2024 at 2:37 am: The defendant entered Atlantic Gas Station located at 850 N. Corona Avenue in Valley Stream and walked behind the counter brandishing a knife demanding cash. The employee in fear for his safety complied and the defendant fled scene.
After a thorough investigation the defendant was located and placed under arrest without incident. Defendant Christian Antonio Sepulveda Silva is charged with two counts of Robbery 1st Degree. He will be arraigned on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at First District Court, 99 Main Street in Hempstead. It was also determined that the defendant entered the United States on November 11, 2023 through the Visa Waiver Program.
