The Arson Bomb Squad reports the details of a Fire that occurred on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at 11:18 PM in East Rockaway.

According to Detectives, Officers responded to a house fire located on Adams Street. The fire was extinguished by the East Rockaway Fire Department. The fire caused extensive damage to the home. One East Rockaway firefighter sustained a right ankle injury and was transported to a nearby hospital. A male victim, 50, was also transported to a nearby hospital for smoke inhalation. There were no other injuries reported. The Nassau County Fire Marshall were on scene. The investigation is ongoing.
