The Major Case Bureau reports the details of a Home Invasion that occurred on Monday, January 29, 2024 at 11:20 am in North Hills.
According to Robbery Squad Detectives, three unknown male subjects dressed as utility workers wearing fluorescent jackets, pants, hard hats, gloves and face masks rang the doorbell of a Folie Court resident’s home claiming to check on a gas leak. When the homes caretaker, a male victim, 35, answered the door the subjects forced their way into the home brandishing a small black handgun. Once inside they located the homeowner, a female, 69, and threw her to the ground and held her there. The victims started screaming and the three male subjects exited the home and fled scene towards Shelter Rock Road in an unknown direction with an undetermined amount of proceeds. There were no injuries reported. The investigation is ongoing.
