The Public Information Office reports the arrest of a Levittown man for a DWI that occurred on Monday, February 19, 2024 in Hicksville.

According to police, officers responded to a three (3) car accident in the vicinity of Old Country Road and Levittown Parkway.  It was determined a 2013 black Chevrolet Suburban was traveling eastbound on Old Country Road and struck the side of a 2022 Dodge Ram traveling the same direction.  The Chevrolet continued eastbound and struck a 2014 Honda CRV traveling westbound on Old Country Road.

During the investigation officers determined the operator of the 2013 Chevrolet was intoxicated.  Amrinder Singh, 31, of 98 Twig Lane, was arrested without interest.

The female operator, 34, of the Dodge suffered minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital for evaluation and treatment.

The female operator, 63, of the Honda suffered minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital for evaluation and treatment.

Defendant Singh is charged with DWI and Driving While Ability Impaired.  He will be arraigned on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at First District Court, Hempstead.
