The Public Information Office reports on a fire that occurred on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 5:30 AM in Valley Stream.

According to Police, officers responded to a fire at Orange Skye Day Spa, located at 50 Rockaway Avenue. Upon arrival, officers observed that the roof of the building was engulfed in flames. Valley Stream Fire Department and several other nearby departments responded to extinguish the flames. The fire spread to several connected commercial stores before finally being extinguished. No injuries were reported at scene. Fire Marshals and Arson Bomb Squad responded to scene. The investigation is ongoing.
