The Public Information Office reports the arrest of a Bayville man for an Assault that occurred on Friday, October 25, 2024 at 4:30 PM in Hicksville.

According to Police, Officers responded for a disturbance at Broadway Mall located at 955 Broadway Mall for reports of an intoxicated male being aggressive towards the public. Upon arrival, Officers approached the Defendant Allan Nunez, 30, of 3 Summitview Drive who began attacking them. An officer sustained injuries as the defendant was violent and combative while resisting arrest. The officer was transported to a local area hospital for evaluation and treatment. Defendant Nunez was also transported to a local area hospital. 

Further investigation revealed that Defendant Nunez inappropriately grabbed and forcibly touched a female victim, 15, while she walking around Round One. 

Defendant Allan Nunez is charged with Assault 2^nd Degree, Forcible Touching, Disorderly Conduct, Endangering Welfare of a Child, Obstructing Governmental Administration 2^nd Degree, Harassment 2^nd Degree and Resisting arrest. He will be arraigned on Saturday, October 26, 2024 in First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
