The First Squad reports the arrest of a Roosevelt man for an incident that occurred on Friday, December 29, 2023 at 4:30 pm in Roosevelt.

According to Detectives, Officers received a 911 call for a male Hispanic inappropriately sexually propositioning a female juvenile, 15, at the Roosevelt Laundromat located at 455 Nassau Road. Officers located the defendant, Transito Giron, 55, of 276 Debevoise Avenue and placed him under arrest without incident.

Defendant Transito Giron is charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He will be arraigned on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
