The Arson Bomb Squad reports the details of a Fire that occurred on Friday, March 15, 2024 at 8:00 pm in Massapequa.

According to Detectives, Officers responded to a working house fire on Maple Lane. Upon arrival, Officers observed the attached garage to be fully engulfed in flames and all residents had safely evacuated. The Massapequa Fire Department along with the South Farmingdale Fire Department arrived and extinguished the fire. The residence suffered extensive damage. The Nassau County Fire Marshal and Arson Bomb Squad Detectives responded to the scene. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time but is not suspicious.
