The Major Case Squad reports the arrest of two Brooklyn men for a Burglary that occurred on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 4:25 a.m. in New Hyde Park.
According to Detectives, two defendants, Tristan Livingston, 27, and Justin St. Hill, 27, both of 877 E 92nd Street, broke into Gold Coast Motorsports, located at 2070 Jericho Turnpike, and stole five motorcycles valued at approximately $125,000 USC. During the course of the burglary, a 75-year-old male victim was walking his dog and observed the defendants breaking into the business. Both defendants assaulted the victim, threatened and restrained him, preventing him from leaving. The victim was able to eventually escape, after a prolonged struggle with the defendants.
On Tuesday, October 8, 2024 the Nassau County Police Departments Major Case Squad along with members of the New York and New Jersey U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force located and apprehended the defendants from their residence in Brooklyn.
Both defendants are being charged with Burglary 2nd Degree, Kidnapping 2nd Degree, and two counts of Assault 2nd Degree. They were arraigned on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at First District Court, 99 Main Street in Hempstead.
Defendant Livingston has a prior arrest history, including: Criminal Possession of a Weapon and Forgery.
Defendant St. Hill has a prior arrest history, including: Burglary 3rd Degree, Grand Larceny, and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property.
