The Nassau Country Police Department reports the arrests of five (5) individuals for incidents that occurred on Friday, July 21, 2024 in Elmont.

According to Detectives, Officers responded to UBS Arena located at 2400 Hempstead Turnpike for multiple disturbances. Officers were met by UBS Security Guards attempting to remove patrons from the premise for being disorderly. While officers were escorting Defendant Eduardo Flores Hernandez, 24, of 209 E. 165^th Street, Bronx he became non-compliant and was placed into custody. Defendant Dana Morales, 25, of 209 E. 165^th Street, Bronx began pushing and attempting to punch officers and Defendant Lisset Flores Hernandez, 26, of 209 E. 165^th Street, Bronx struck, bit and punched officers and security while attempting to interfere with the arrest process.

Defendant Eduardo Flores Hernandez is charged with Obstructing Governmental Administration 2^nd Degree and Criminal Trespassing 3^rd Degree. He was released on an Appearance Ticket returnable on Friday, July 5, 2024.

Defendant Dana Morales is charged with Criminal Trespassing 3^rd Degree, Obstructing Governmental Administration 2^nd Degree, Resisting Arrest, Attempted Assault 2^nd Degree and Harassment 2^nd Degree. She will be arraigned on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at First District Court, 99 Main Street Hempstead.

Defendant Lisett Flores Hernandez is charged with Assault 2^nd Degree, Resisting Arrest, Obstructing Governmental Administration 2^nd Degree, Criminal Trespassing 3^rd Degree and Assault 3^rd Degree. She will be arraigned on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at First District Court, 99 Main Street Hempstead.

Additionally on July 21, 2024 at 11:58 PM, Defendants Fernando Velasco, 50, of 345 W 70^th Street, New York and Andy Velasquez, 26, of 445 E 141^st Street, Bronx while being escorted from the premise both struck a security guard in the face with a closed fist. The security guard refused medical attention at scene. Defendants Fernando Velasco and Andy Velasquez were placed under arrest without further incident. They are charged with Assault 3^rd Degree and were issued an Appearance Tickets returnable to First District Court on Friday, July 5, 2024.
