The First Squad reports the arrest of a Hempstead woman for an incident that occurred on Friday, January 19, 2024 at 10:22 am in Roosevelt.

According to detectives, officers responded to a disturbance in the parking lot of 380 Nassau Road. Upon arrival, officers were informed that Tyneesha S. Anderson, 32, of 100 Terrace Avenue, was involved in a verbal altercation with a male victim, 32 and threatened him with an ice pick.  Defendant Anderson was taken into custody and transported to the Nassau University Medical Center for evaluation.

While in police custody at the hospital, Defendant Anderson kicked an officer in the chest and face, causing the officer to suffer injuries and pain.

Defendant Tyneesha S. Anderson is charged with Assault 2^nd Degree, Menacing 2^nd Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4^th Degree. She will be arraigned when medically practical.
