The Third Squad reports the details of a Burglary that occurred on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 4:00 am in Mineola.

According to Detectives, Third Precinct officers responded to Davenport Press Restaurant, located at 70 Main Street, for a Commercial Burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined that an unknown male subject, wearing a grey sweatshirt, dark pants and white sneakers, entered the restaurant through an unlocked kitchen window. Further investigation revealed that an unknown amount of US currency had been removed from the cash register. The subject fled the scene eastbound on Front Street on a bicycle. The investigation is ongoing.
