Homicide Squad Detectives are investigating a Vehicular Accident that occurred on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 8:55 pm in Baldwin.

According to detectives, a male pedestrian, 70, was crossing north to south on Sunrise Highway in the vicinity of Harrison Avenue and was struck by a 2013 Nissan traveling eastbound on Sunrise Highway.

The male suffered trauma to his head and body.  He was transported to an area hospital for treatment and evaluation.  He is listed in critical condition.

The female operator, 33, was not injured and remained at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
