The Public Information Office reports the details of a Smoke Condition that occurred on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 8:43 pm in Oceanside.

According to police, officers responded to an apartment building on Tilrose Avenue for a smoke condition.  The Oceanside Fire Department responded and determined the smoke was due to a faulty oil burned.  The Red Cross was notified and offered assistance to impacted residents.

No injuries were reported.
