The Homicide Squad reports the details of an Auto Accident that occurred on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at 11:51 a.m. in Oceanside.

According to Detectives, a 63-year-old male operating a 2011 Harley Davidson motorcycle, was involved in a collision with a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee being operated by a 58-year-old male. The motorcycle was heading eastbound on Atlantic Avenue when he was struck by the Jeep which was heading westbound on Atlantic Avenue, attempting to make a left on Lincoln Avenue. The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries to his legs and was transported to a local area hospital. The driver of the jeep remained at scene. The investigation is ongoing.
