The Public Information Office reports the details of a Fire that occurred on Friday, September 27, 2024 at 8:50 pm in Bellmore.

According to police, officers responded to Florin Court for a house fire.  The North Bellmore and Bellmore Fire Departments both responded to the scene and extinguished the flames.  The Nassau County Fire Marshal and Arson Bomb Squad also responded.  The home was unoccupied at the time of the fire.

A fireman suffered from smoke inhalation. He was evaluated at the scene and refused further treatment.  No further injuries were reported.
