The Seventh Squad reports the details of a Burglary that occurred on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at 2:06 am in Bellmore.

According to detectives, Seventh Precinct officers responded to Clever Smoke and Cigar Shop, located at 2370-A Merrick Road, for a Commercial Burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined that an unknown male entered the store by breaking the front door. Further investigation revealed that an unknown amount of US currency and cigarettes had been removed from the store. The subject left the scene in a 4-door sedan traveling westbound on Merrick Road. The investigation is ongoing.
