Matty’s Holiday Shopping
Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman, Nassau County Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder, Nassau County Police Benevolent Association President Tommy Shevlin and Nassau County Police Department Foundation will host a holiday shopping spree for hundreds of local homeless children at Matty’s Toy Store.
The children will be getting a holiday treat thanks to the generosity of the officers from the Nassau County PBA and the Nassau County Police Department Foundation. The Nassau County Police Benevolent Association will be playing Santa by providing free toys for families at homeless shelters across Long Island. Economic hardship and inflation have taken their toll across the region, leaving some families unable to afford expenses associated with the holidays.
One hundred deserving children will receive a $100.00 gift card to be used for holiday shopping.
