The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Fatal Vehicular Accident that occurred on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 9:19 PM in Plainview.

According to Detectives, a 30-year-old male was operating a 2016 Kawasaki motorcycle eastbound on the Long Island Expressway in the vicinity of exit 46 when he struck the rear of a 2023 International Tractor Trailer. The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at scene by a Nassau County Police Department Medic.  

The operator of the truck, a 57-year-old male, was uninjured and remained at scene.

A safety check was performed on the truck.

The investigation is ongoing.

The motorcyclist in the above listed Fatal Vehicular Accident has been identified as Justin Iezzoni, 30, of Dix Hills.
