The Fourth Squad reports the arrest of an Oceanside man for a Robbery that occurred on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 5:20 a.m. in Oceanside.

According to Detectives, Anthony Candelaria, 38, of 33 Kenneth Place entered the 7-11 convenience store, located at 65 Atlantic Avenue, and began removing approximately 20 cigarette boxes from behind the counter. Defendant Candelaria threatened the store clerk and left the store without paying for the merchandise. He was apprehended by Police a short time later without incident.

Defendant Candelaria is charged with Robbery 3^rd Degree. He will be arraigned on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at First District Court, 99 Main Street in Hempstead.
