The Fourth Squad reports the arrest of an Inwood man for a Burglary that occurred on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at 4:35 a.m. in Inwood.

According to Detectives, Officers responded to a residence on Wahl Avenue for reports of a Burglary in progress. Upon arrival, Officers observed defendant Wilber Quinteros Sigaran, 21, of 15 Loretta Street, fleeing the scene. An Officer was able to apprehend the defendant, utilizing his Electronic Control Device (Taser) to assist in placing defendant Sigaran under arrest.

Defendant Sigaran is charged with Assault 2^nd Degree, and Burglary 1^st Degree. He will be arraigned on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at First District Court, 99 Main Street in Hempstead.
