The Eighth Squad reports the arrest of two undomiciled males for an incident that occurred on Friday, July 26, 2024 at 10:55 a.m. in Hicksville.

According to Detectives, officers responded to the Days Inn, located at 828 S. Oyster Bay Road, for a disturbance. Upon police arrival, it was determined that a male victim, 43, was involved in a verbal argument with two individuals which escalated into a physical altercation. During the incident, defendant Jelony Conze, 21, used his 2005 Nissan Altima to strike the victim. Defendant Conze exited the vehicle, with a machete, and slashed the victim’s hands multiple times causing severe lacerations.

 Defendant Adoni Omhari Conze, 23, a passenger in the vehicle, exited the vehicle and punched the victim in the face, multiple times. The defendants fled the scene, but were located nearby and placed under arrest without incident. The victim was transported to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment, he is in stable condition. 

Defendant Jelony Conze is charged with Attempted Murder 2^nd Degree, Assault 1^st Degree, two counts of Assault 2^nd Degree, Assault 3^rd Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4^th Degree. 

Defendant Adoni Omhari Conze is charged with Assault 1^st Degree, Assault 2^nd Degree and Assault 3^rd Degree. They will be arraigned on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at First District Court, 99 Main Street in Hempstead.
