Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman and Commissioner of Police Patrick Ryder are aware of the explosion on the Rainbow Bridge at the New York Canadian Border. Nassau Police are on high alert with all Police Officers intensifying their patrols in all areas of concern and critical infrastructure.  We are in continuous contact with our intelligence community as we continue to communicate, gather and share critical information.  The public is reminded to call 911 immediately if they see or hear any threats to the safety of our county and its residents.
