The Public Information Office reports on an Aided incident that occurred on Monday, November 27, 2023 at 12:15 PM in Levittown.
According to Police, a 58-year-old male victim at the Adults and Children with Learning Disabilities center (ACLD), located at 2940-42 Hempstead Turnpike was eating his food when one of the faculty workers, a 60-year-old female, observed him chocking. The victim turned blue and CPR was initiated by the worker. Eighth Precinct Officers responded to scene and an Officer administered the Life Vac device, which is a chocking apparatus. The device did assist in clearing the victim’s airway and he was transported by Nassau County Police Ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment. He is currently in stable condition.
