The Arson Bomb Squad reports the details of a house fire that occurred on Sunday, December 24, 2023 at 5:20 pm in Hicksville.

According to Detectives, Officers responded to a residence on Maple Place where the homeowner observed a heavy smoke condition in the first-floor rear bedroom.  All occupants had exited the residence. The Hicksville Fire Department along with several additional Fire Departments responded and extinguished the fire.  The Nassau County Fire Marshal and Arson Bomb Squad Detectives responded to the scene. No injuries were reported.

The investigation is ongoing.
