The Public Information Office reports the details of a fire that occurred on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 11:15 pm in Massapequa.

According to police, officers responded to an Iroquois Street residence for a house fire. The Massapequa Fire Department, South Farmingdale Fire Department and Amityville Fire Department responded to the scene and extinguished the flames.  The Nassau County Fire Marshal also responded and the Red Cross was notified to offer assistance to the displaced residents.  No injuries were reported.

The investigation is ongoing.
