The Fifth Squad is investigating a Grand Larceny that occurred in Lakeview on Friday, March 15, 2024 at 10:00 am.

According to detectives, a 48-year-old male driver for the Virginia Transport Co. was delivering a 2024 Mercedes to a storage yard located at 484 Princeton Street. The driver removed the vehicle from a trailer and parked it on Princeton Street in the vicinity of Langdon Boulevard temporarily with the motor running and the key fob inside. At that time an unknown male subject was observed inside the vehicle without permission and drove the vehicle away last seen travelling north on Langdon Boulevard. There were no injuries reported.

The subject is described as being male, Hispanic, medium build wearing all black clothing and a black face mask.
