The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Homicide that occurred on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at approximately 7:00 PM in Massapequa.

According to Detectives, officers responded to 5714 Old Sunrise Highway for the report of an unresponsive female. Upon arrival, officers located the victim who had sustained multiple stab wounds and administered medical aid. The 57-year-old female was transported to a nearby hospital where she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced by a physician.  The investigation is ongoing.

The female victim of the above incident has been identified as Josefina Ramirez Montero, 57 of Massapequa.
