The Public Information Office reports the arrest of a Brooklyn man for an incident that occurred on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 12:17 pm in Valley Stream.
According to Officers, Fifth Precinct police responded to Walmart, located at 77 Green Acres Road, for an infant left unattended in a car. Upon arrival, officers observed a 10-month-old male infant in the rear seat of the vehicle. Officers broke the driver’s side front window and safely removed the child from the vehicle. A Nassau County Police Department Ambulance transported the child to a local hospital for evaluation.
A subsequent investigation by officers determined, Defendant Volodymer Krynytskyy, 42, of 1916 Avenue K, was responsible leaving his child unattended and was placed under arrest without incident. The child was placed in the custody of a family member at the hospital.
Defendant Krynytskyy is charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He will be arraigned on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
