The First Squad is investigating Identity Theft that occurred on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 1130 am in Baldwin.

According to detectives, an unknown male subject that assumed the identity of another person entered into the Capitol One bank located at 2303 Grand Avenue. Once inside the male subject filled out a withdrawal slip using the identity of another and withdrew cash causing a loss of $ 900.00.

The subject is described as being a male, black, 5’10” tall, thin build, black hair, black beard, bald head, blue jeans, red sneakers, gray coat and a blue cast affixed to his left hand.

Detectives request that if anyone feels that may have been the victim of the above subject or knows his identity  to contact the Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All calls will remain anonymous.
