The Eighth Squad reports the arrest of two Queens men for a Robbery that occurred on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at 1:00 am in Farmingdale.
According to detective, defendants Robert Nemtzian, 18 and Edward Nemtzian, 23, both of 3357 190th Street, Flushing, entered The Nutty Irishmen, located at 323 Main Street. While entering the location, defendant Robert Nemtzian attempted to use a forged NYS drivers license but was denied entry by a 52-year-old male employee. Defendant Robert Nemtzian pushed past the employee and grabbed approximately $100 USC from on top of a cash register. Defendant Robert Nemtzian then attempted to grab more cash from the hand of the 52-year-old victim by pushing him to the ground but was unsuccessful and both defendants fled the scene. Officers responded and were able to locate both defendants a short time later and placed under arrest without further incident. No injuries reported at scene.
Defendant Robert Nemtzian and Edward Nemtzian are both charged with Robbery 2nd Degree. Defendant Robert Nemtzian was additionally charged with Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd Degree. They will be arraigned on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at First District Court, Hempstead.
