The Sixth Squad reports the arrest of two Queens men for a Robbery that occurred on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at about 6:15 p.m. in Roslyn Heights.

According to Detectives, a male victim, 35, entered his 2017 Toyota Sienna in front of his Roslyn Heights residence located on South Court, when he was approached by three (3) unknown male subjects. A firearm was brandished by one of the subjects, the victim was then forced out of his vehicle and his keys were forcibly removed. One male subject entered the victim’s vehicle and fled eastbound on South Court while the other two male subjects fled on foot. 

Subsequent to the investigation, detectives arrested Joshua Reyes, 24, of 104-07 Otis Ave, Corona, and Zacchaeus Gibson, 18, of 9720 57^th Avenue Corona, for the above incident. The investigation is ongoing. 

Both Defendants are charged with Robbery 1st Degree, Grand Larceny 2^nd Degree, and Grand Larceny 4^th Degree. Both defendants will be arraigned on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at First District Court, 99 Main Street in Hempstead.
