Seventh Squad detectives are investigating an attempted robbery that occurred in Massapequa on Wednesday, 11/11/15 at 6:50 P.M.

According to detectives, two male subjects approached a male victim, 27, on Carman Mill Rd./Madison St., and began punching and kicking him while demanding he give them everything in his pockets. The subjects fled eastbound on Madison Street with no proceeds.

Nassau County Police Ambulance transported the victim, who suffered a large laceration to the back of his head and contusions to the face, to a local hospital for treatment.

The subjects are described as male blacks in their late teens to early 20’s, both approximately 5’8” tall, thin builds, and wearing black clothing. One subject was wearing a gray skull cap on his head.
