The Third Squad reports on a Robbery that occurred on Monday, April 21, 2025 at 6:26 AM in New Cassel.
According to Detectives, a 30-year-old male was walking northbound on Monitor Street near the intersection of Roman Avenue when two male subjects riding on a single bicycle approached him. One of the subjects asked the victim for cash, which the victim refused to comply. The subject then displayed a small knife and pointed it at the victim. The victim, fearing for his life, complied and gave the subject his backpack containing US Currency and multiple personal items. The two subjects then fled the scene on their bicycle northbound. The victim reported no injuries at scene. The investigation is ongoing.
The first subject is described as a male black, medium height and thin build. He was last seen wearing a black top, blue jeans and a black surgical mask.
The second subject is described as a male black, medium height and thin build. He was last seen wearing a black top, black pajama pants and a black surgical mask.
