The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of two Bronx men for a Burglary that occurred on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 9:39 p.m. in Farmingdale.
According to detectives, the Major Case Bureau was conducting surveillance in conjunction with Greenwich Police Department, Village of Mamaroneck Police Department, Town of Mamaroneck Police Department, City of Rye Police Department, Larchmont Police Department, Hastings on the Hudson Police Department and Westchester County Police Department Real Time Crime Center. Detectives observed a red Nissan that was involved in a prior Burglary parked outside of a Fulton Street apartment complex in the vicinity of Iroquois Avenue. Detectives observed a male in the driver seat and a second male enter the passenger seat of vehicle. They followed the vehicle and activated their emergency lights, conducting a Vehicle and Traffic Law stop at Fulton Street and Conklin Street. Upon further investigation, it was determined that defendants, Michael Herrera, 45, of 664 East 158th Street and Donelle Johnson, 46, of 699 West 239th Street, had just committed a Burglary of a Fulton Street residence. Both defendants were placed into custody without incident.
Defendant Michael Herrera is charged with Burglary 2nd Degree. Defendant Donelle Johnson is charged with Burglary 2nd degree and has an active New York City warrant for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle. Both defendants were arraigned on Friday, April 18, 2025 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
