Fourth Squad Detectives report the arrest of a Florida man for Criminal Possession of a Weapon that occurred on Monday, April 7, 2025 at 8:44 pm in Oceanside.
According to detectives, Critical Intelligence Rapid Response Team (CIRRT) officers observed a 2014 Hyundai traveling northbound on Long Beach Road in the vicinity of Anchor Avenue, with a broken rear tail lamp. The vehicle proceeded to change lanes without signaling. Officers activated their emergency lights and conducted a Vehicle and Traffic Law stop.
During the investigation the following items were recovered:
- Sig Sauer P320 Handgun
- CZ Scorpion EVO 3 S1 Handgun
- Sig Sauer M400
- Five (5) Large Capacity Magazines
Yuval Pryce, 40, Of 1188 NW 45 Ter, Lauderhill, Florida was arrested without incident.
Defendant Pryce is charged with two (2) counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree, five (5) counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Firearm and multiple VTL violations. He will be arraigned on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at First District Court, Hempstead.
