The Eighth Precinct POP Unit (Problem Oriented Policing) reports the arrest of four individuals for the Sale of Illegal Fireworks that occurred on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at 9:55 a.m.  throughout Nassau County.

According to Police, the Eighth Precinct POP Unit responded to multiple businesses due to various community complaints throughout the jurisdiction of the Eighth Precinct. Today, after a thorough investigation, multiple arrests were made at the following locations:

-INC Convenience Store, of 695 Main Street, South Farmingdale.

-Wittenburg Enterprises Convenience, of 628 Wantagh Avenue, Levittown.

-Rainbow Card Gallery, of 578 Stewart Avenue, Bethpage.

-OK GO Gas Station, of 767 Wantagh Avenue, Levittown.

All of the defendants were charged with Unlawfully Selling Fireworks and issued Appearance Tickets.
