The Fourth Squad is investigating an Assault that occurred in Lakeview on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at 2:23 am.
According to detectives, a 25 year old male victim had exited his 2015 black GMC that was parked on Tyler Avenue near Ronkonkoma Avenue when an unknown male black subject approached and pointed a handgun while demanding cash. The victim ran back into his SUV at which time the subject fired multiple shots striking him in the left buttock, left thigh, and groin area. The victim fled the scene and notified Fifth Precinct Police Officers who were taking an unrelated report nearby on Woodfield road. The victim was transported in a Nassau County Police Ambulance to a nearby hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The subject is described as being male, black, dark skinned, round face, poor complexion, 5’9” tall, 180 Lbs, average to muscular build, 20-30 years of age, black doo rag, corn rows on the back of head, white v neck t shirt, and white sneakers.
