The Arson Bomb Squad reports the details of a residential fire that occurred on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at 3:17 pm in North Woodmere.

According to Detectives, Officers responded to a housefire located at 626 Prescott Place. Upon arrival, Officers observed smoke emanating from the home. The Woodmere Fire Department along with several additional Fire Departments extinguished the fire.  No injuries were reported. 

Arson Bomb Squad Detectives and the Nassau County Fire Marshal responded to scene. The fire is deemed non-suspicious at this time.  

The investigation in ongoing.
