The Missing Persons Squad reports a Missing Juvenile that occurred on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 8:00 am in New Cassel and reported to police on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 3:40 pm.

According to detectives, Schelcy Velasquez, 14, was last seen leaving her New Cassel residence. She is described as a female Hispanic with brown eyes, black hair, 5’4” tall and 120 pounds.  Her clothing description and destination is unknown.

Detectives request anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact the Nassau County Police Missing Persons Squad at (516) 573-7347 or call 911.  All callers will remain anonymous.
