The Eighth Squad reports the arrest of two Juveniles at 9:00 pm on Tuesday May 10, 2022 in South Farmingdale.

According to Detectives, at approximately 6:20pm, five male juvenile victims ages 12 and 13 years, were at Allen Park located at 99 Motor Avenue when they were approached by the first male subject carrying what appeared to be a weapon. Subject one was carrying a black and yellow colored gel pellet gun and then ordered the victims to lay on the ground and demanded money; in fear of their safety, the victims complied. A second subject was present yelling for Subject one to shoot at the victims and a third male subject was present videotaping the robbery. A female witness, 38, approached the scene causing the three subjects to flee. The Juveniles along with their parents contacted the Police. No injuries were reported.

Subsequent to the investigation, Subjects 2 and 3 were located inside the park at 9:00pm and placed into custody. The juvenile defendants are ages 14 and 15 years. They are each charged with five counts of Attempted Robbery 2nd Degree and will be arraigned on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 in the youth part of First District Court 99 Main Street Hempstead.

The investigation is ongoing.
