The Arson Bomb Squad reports an incident that occurred on Friday, June 14th, 2024 at 11:32 AM in Bellmore.
According to Detectives, a 62-year-old male victim was working in the electrical service room at 2600 Newbridge Road when he was electrocuted, causing burns to his arm and stomach. A second victim, a 39-year-old male, suffered burns to his arm while trying to help. The 62-year-old male was airlifted to a nearby hospital by the Nassau County Police Department’s Aviation Unit. The 39-year-old male was taken to a nearby hospital by a Bellmore Fire Department Ambulance. Both victims are in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.
