The Third Squad reports the arrest of a Queens’s man on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 5:04 p.m. in Bellerose for multiple Burglaries in Nassau County.
According to detectives, Kasheem M. Hill, 34 of 12-217 109th Avenue, South Ozone Park was wanted in connection to three burglaries that occurred in New Hyde Park and Garden City Park. The investigation determined that on January 31, 2015 the defendant entered a residence on White Avenue in New Hyde Park and removed jewelry, cash and personal papers. On February 28, 2015 Hill entered another New Hyde Park home on 1st Avenue and removed personal property, cash and jewelry and on May 28, 2015 Hill entered a home on Hillside Drive South, Garden City Park and removed cash and jewelry.
On Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 5:04 p.m. a Third Precinct Officer observed Hill entering his vehicle on Jericho Turnpike in Bellerose. The officer was able to place the defendant in custody without incident. During the arrest Hill was found to be in possession of a loaded .45 caliber handgun, a gravity knife and heroin.
Hill is charged with three counts of Burglary 2nd degree, four counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th degree. He was arraigned on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at First District Court in Hempstead.
