The Fourth Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred on Monday, November 23, 2015 at 9:25 P.M. in Elmont.
According to detectives, a male white subject entered the Shell gas station located at 1360 Hempstead Turnpike walked behind the counter and verbally demanded money while simulating he had a handgun in his jacket pocket. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of US currency the subject who was described as 5’8-10” tall, heavy set, wearing a black two hole knit mask and a black bubble style jacket fled on foot northbound on Covert Avenue.
No injuries were reported.
